Your
mind
is the
playlist
that
creates the
ambience
of your
heart.
*
Everyone
has a playlist of
songs
in his
mind.
They are not songs
from MTV
but
songs you create
overtime.
Its lyrics are made up
of the words
you
retain in your mind.
They are
downloaded
in your playlist.
You mind is its
home.
These songs
are not those
you listen and forget.
They are put on
repeat
to the point
it
automatically plays
without your knowledge or
permission.
These songs are best known
as your
thought life.
*
What's the
song collection
in your playlist like?
What songs
have you put on
default repeat mode?
The songs you repeatedly listen to
affects
your
heart.
Your heart is where
your
motives
take root,
where
purpose
is formed and developed.
There are all sorts of
motives and purposes.
Good and bad.
Good or bad,
is determined
by the
condition
of your heart.
Your heart,
is the
life-centre
your being.
It is the
dynamo
of your entire person.
It
pumps and distributes
energy
to your body.
It
fuels and enables
you to
move.
The
actions and decisions
you make
are
directly influenced
by your heart.
*
The human heart is
ultra-sensitive
and vulnerable.
We respond to music.
We respond to melodies.
We also respond to
chants.
The chants we are talking about here
are
not strings of gibberish.
According to Merriam Webster Dictionary,
a chant is
to recite something in a
monotonous
repetitive tone.
Repeat,
'This is too difficult.
I don't think I can.'
five times.
It's already a chant.
It affects your
mood.
It swings your heart
from
jelly to stone,
from stone to jelly
or
somewhere in between.
In
one day,
one situation or scenario
could
trigger the play button
in your playlist
and put
that particular song,
that particular phrase,
on repeat.
At every repeat,
it affects your heart.
One bitter song
from the mind,
one bucket of bitter juice
splashed over your heart.
Repeat long enough,
your heart becomes
a pool of acid,
overflowing and bubbling over
with poison.
The
words you spout
becomes
toxic.
The
decisions you make
are
spiteful.
The
actions you execute
are destructive.
And many times,
we forget why.
What is your
playlist
like?
