There's no guarantee
that
you are
not hurting
because
you
don't look like
you are.
The
most dangerous things
in your life are
usually
invisible.
Their signals are
subtle.
When we are
too busy
or in
lack of knowledge
to notice,
we overlook
growing problems
that
don't wait for us to
respond.
And when they have climbed to
lethal levels,
its siren flings you
shocking news
and you find yourself
unprepared.

An intelligent
human being
never
assumes
anything or anyone
at
face value.
Doctors
do not conclude
you are fine
just because
you
say you are.
They don't check out
your health
based on
how you
'really' feel,
believe,
think
or
on what
others have observed.
If we want the
truth,
we got to shut up
and
let them do their thing.
With the right tools,
they
examine you
at different levels -
outwardly
and
inwardly.
These physical examinations
are so uncommon and inaccessible to
you and I
that
they cost hundreds and sometimes, thousands.
For that,
many foolishly reason,
'It's too
expensive and inconvenient.
Anyway,
I don't want to know the
bad news.'
It depends which
style
you like to
know truths:
you be in-charge -
know and deal
with the problem
today
or
your problem be in-charge -
it shall befall you like a
bomb
later
[and it'll not tell you when it'll pay you a visit]
hardly concludes with,
'Oh okay!'
when you text them with multiple smileys,
'I'm good! :) :) :)'
after you left the party
[with the widest smile you could plaster on your face]
unusually early.
I once did that
and
one of my
human mirrors
didn't let me go.
She
and
one of my
human mirrors
didn't let me go.
She
brought it up few days later
and
reported I was stammering in my conversations
at the party -
no memory of it!
I was so convinced
I 'felt' fine.
Human mirrors
always
see beyond.
They see what's
on the surface
but
they also
look into
your heart and mind.
They
can see what
we
usually cannot.

A man
could appear
to be in the pink of health
but
he could
never
be sure
his body is pink beyond
his skin.
Do you know
that cheeseburger you had
last week,
that steak and chips
from Christmas
and
that toasty, almost-charred bak-kwa
could still be sticking
to your large intestine
now?
These bits of food
decomposes and infests
your intestines
into a toxic swamp;
stimulating more bacteria
to make your body its home.
No tumor
grows overnight.
It takes years.
As of 2010 national medical report,
Colon cancer
is now the highest illness in
We could be
clever, good-looking and wealthy
but
none of these attributes
helps us
detect
or even
feel-out
the layers of poison
inside of us.
Prevention
is certainly
better than
cure.
Rather than
fearing
you'll be the next,
start being
committed to love yourself
by
regularly taking care of
your body
and
treating minor colds and
This is also true
to
the invisible side of
you:
your
soul
and
spirit.
You are
two-thirds
invisible.
Frighteningly,
we spend the major fractions
of our day's time
on everything else
but
treating and nourishing
our
soul and spirit.
People usually appears
'okay'
so those around them
rarely bother
to ask or tell
questions and conversations
that could
meet their
needs
and
heal
their hurts.
It takes
Human Mirrors,
those with a
'big soul';
big minds
and
big hearts
to
notice
what most people overlook,
and
give value
to what most people write off as
insignificant or plain irritating.
The world isn't
looking for the
next big talent,
beauty queen or
millionnaire socialite
to
find the
hope, love and peace
they've been hungry for.
The world is
looking for
people who are capable of
looking closer;
who looks at human beings
not through
their intellect, ego and critical analyses
but
through
eyes of compassion
and
hearts that break
for
not only their family and friends
but also
strangers
and
those who
have nothing to give.
Has anybody
noticed the signals
your soul
has been radiating?
Have you
noticed the signals
from the souls'
around you?
Everyone needs
Human Mirrors.
Be one
for
someone
this week.
Someone will
be
yours.
