Delectable Words.

Now that I've successfully
scrambled out of the circus of confusing law notes,
I've time to indulge in some writing.

Come exams, scrolls of to-do-lists or
catastrophic days -
writing soothes me.

I remember what the
former Life! newspaper editor
preached to my Print Journalism classmates,

'We are wordsmiths.
We craft words so beautifully.'

Delicious conviction.

Dr. Phil Pringle
reminds us that the primary purpose
of words isn't communication but
creation.

The pen is
mightier than the sword.

Life and death
rests at the tip of the
human-tongue.

The mouth
is the dam

that carries life or death -
its roots are
from the
heart.

There,
is it a stale swamp, blackened with Death?
Every word
reeks.
The stench fogs and discolours
situations.

There,
is it a fountain of spring,
its fresh water laughs and dances.
It never keep to itself.
It enjoys reaching out,
far and wide.
Oh, joy.
Every word refreshes.
In statements,
they deodorise and revitalise situations.

There,
you find a
treasury of Wisdom.
Truth
is its government.
There,
Love runs deep and overflows.

This is Life

and the life
that your tongue
can bring.

Breathtaking.
