Please pardon me for my absence pass few days!
Unexpectedly, I had to shelve updating my blog as
I was adjusting myself with new things in my life.
Firstly,
I am pretty pleased with myself
For scrambling up from my very unfit fitness level last week,
To accumulating a 9km run yesterday and today.
It was tough
But I've been practising a ''switch-pain-off' mindplay
Which effectively helps me focus on working that treadmill without any gripes.
Secondly,
If you recall that I had a 90days training in financial and investment advice
730a.m-830a.m Monday to Saturday.
Instead of that,
I have been offered a one-to-one training packed in a month, with this man named
Andrew Kang.
He is close to a male version of Yah Lan, honest!
Andrew is the right hand man of the CEO
Yet so humble.
Andrew is swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger.
He speaks with a steady and gentle but firm voice.
People in the office nicknamed him
'Father Andrew' (haha)
Today,
He brought me on an office-tour and introduced his friends to me.
As I walked, I saw Reinhard Bonnke's mega crusade posters here and there.
There's an evident atmosphere of warmth and genuity.
People acknowledge people when they cross paths.
Nobody was too busy to welcome and encourage me
''Exciting! You can do it. Welcome onboard.''
Besides that,
I've learnt that this company embodies the meaning of Social Enterprise.
Very often,
They go to countries like India, Indonesia and Thailand
To meet needs and even heal hurts.
IPP has built schools,
Empowered people in employment and
Introduce advanced ecosystems.
What a value-adder to society.
In there,
Money isn't kept
But multiplied
Because it is made to flow out and
To be given freely
To where much is needed.
Blessed is the man who fears Him,
Who delights greatly in His commandments.
Wealth and riches will be in his house.
He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
He deals graciously and lends.
He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor.
His horn will be exalted with honor.
The wicked will see it and be grieved;
He will gnash his teeth and melt away.
