Beautiful Men.

My entire Thursday at work was spent on
Watching and logging shots from The Amazing Race Asia Season 2 (TARA).

Talking about Singaporeans being the quickest people in the world yesterday,
I'm most proud to announce the Singapore Team has emered the winners
In TARA 2!
You'd be shocked to learn that Adrian (the guy on your right)
Is a hearing-impaired.
But from the beginning to the end,
He never gave any regard to his handicap.

His attitude was superb.
Adrian was swift and calm all the time.
Nothing could stress him out.
Unlike the rest of the teams,
Adrian never swore once (no kidding, Collin too).

I must say I think
Adrian is one of the most Beautiful Men
I've ever seen.

He is one of the greatest examples
Of a man who is a master of living by
His Heart and Brain
In sync.
(I wrote that the longest journey in life is between
The Heart and Brain two days ago.
And just yesterday,
I shared how the Noise of the World
Can desensitise or distract us from the quietest, yet most Important voice in life.)

I'm sure Adrian's mastery of holding his own in such an intense race
Has something to do with his 'weakness'.

That 'weakness' gave him two choices to make -

a. Blame it and resign to a limited life

b. Turn it around and embrace and live life to the fullest everyday

Adrian obviously chose B!

Throughout the race,
He communicated with people by reading their lips.
You can't really hear what he's talking about,
But when he speaks,
A certain passion flows out of his being.

I never heard Adrian heave a sigh at the point of frustration.
Adrian and Collin never...NEVER schemed any tricks on their competitors.
They always encouraged others with such transparent sincerity.

They had Love, Integrity and Respect.

What a team to represent Singapore =)

May more men and women like them be found in our country.
