I can't believe this
But it has happened.
I just saw something,
That shook my heart, quite abit.

Few moments later,
I could only say,
'Okay God, I get it.'

Human beings are so awfully stubborn
It takes God to rearrange your day
In order to prove you wrong,
To stop building on the wrong vision.

I was supposed to meet Clarice at Orchard for Soup Spoon.
But she had to deliver documents to her office at Indoor Stadium's Brewerkz.
So we planned to meet at Kallang where she could pick me up in a cab.
We had to settle for meeting at Lavender instead, as there was no parking space.
THEN
I SAW IT.

And I told God,
Okay, I get it.

I'll forget it.
I'll let go.
It's just not meant to be.

Something in between work today:

'I've stolen a slice of my work hours to write to you.
This' how my day has been.

Early morning
Decked in my usual black leggings
And the new Bangkok jacket, it's bat-winged.

For breakfast
Yoghurt, pineapple and apples
Miniature cupcakes dunked in bittersweet coffee
Had to slam the blacked out TV few times
Before I could watch Oprah Winfrey

An hour and three quarters later
Dinner with Clarice at Brewerkz
Salad and salmon drizzled in vinaigrette
Between glasses of Coke-light

We'll catch up and laugh away

Sweet Monday night

Spent by the stadium's bay
