Cast your bread upon the waters,
For you'll find it after many days.
Give a serving to seven, and also to eight,
For you do not know what evil will be on earth.
He who observes the wind will not sow (and not reap),
And he who regards the clouds will not reap.
As you don't know what's the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you don't know the works of God who makes everything.
In the morning, sow your seed.
And in the evening don't withhold your hand;
For you don't know which will prosper,
Either this or that,
Or whether both alike will be good.
-Proverbs
Sometimes, we don't need to understand everything.
Just like tonight, we didn't know what was next.
But we followed through
And trust that the end would be good.
We waited.
We anticipated.
We saw.
We cheered.
And we know we are on
The right track.
