Pillar Of Salt

I just recalled the first time I started bloggin.
It was a shocking five years back when life was all about
anorexia,
waking at 5pm everyday,
zipping around in taxis to shops I will spend cash mindlessly,
memorising Missy Elliot's Gossip Folks,
listening to my depressing lullaby from Red Hot Chilli Peppers,
wailing quietly into my pillow after stressful fights,
hollering my head off at the void deck wolves,
getting dehydrated skin from cheap soap foam parties,
and
walking bare feet out of throbbing-clubs.

EWW.

Every post was melancholic.
Otherwise, it was about mini matters.

Goodbye, farewell, Egypt.
It was fun but only temporarily.
There were no rules,
So precisely, I had loads of accidents that hurt beyond flesh and bones.

Now,
I have an eternity to anticipate for all that I've missed out while I was away,
And what that's prepared for me.

A kingdom to
Love
Encourage
Educate
Empower
Inspire
To show they too can have a
Future
And a
Hope

I've done nothing to earn this.
It's only because I am loved.

I won't turn back.
You won't want to see me reduced into a pillar of salt.
Look up. Look forward!
And keep on walking.
You'll never be wrong.
