hurries her foot.

fame

turns her face.

The battalion of 

Anger and Anxiety

recruited in the

in the history of mankind,

never threatens

her speed.

Her might

is in her

Consistency.

No

Gold, Wit or Reason,

no matter how

colourful and clever

in their pursuit,

can

make her 

fall head over heels.

Unblinkingly,

she 

persists

at the 

same pace,

just the way she likes it.

Tick, tick, tick.

The whining pleas of

Laziness and Sloth

never

slows her down

for their

catch up.

Time

never waits

for anyone.

She

walks on,

in the same

rhythm.

Tick tick, tick tick.

I've

chased

after her to quicken.

Twisting her arms

never worked.

I've

begged

for her to wait.

I thought

she must be cruel.

How I dreaded

to live within

Time!

I realize

the unhappiest people

on Earth

are the

Impatient

ones.

They 

work hard,

chasing Time

everyday.

It's 

exhausting,

frustrating,

and

lunacy-inducing

to run after something

you can 

never catch!

And

the 

only exit

is

Death.

How do you live

with

Time

and 

be happy 

then?

When I decide

to

 quit this silly game

of cat and mouse with Time,

I surrender to 

her pace

and

start walking 

by Time's

side.

Instead of

trying to play the

leader

of

Time,

I realize 

the best I could be

is to be her

Friend.

And to those

who tend to

scurry behind her,

beckoning her to slow down,

she doesn't like

to be your

Master

and

you,

her 

slave.

It's never meant to be

this way.

She's called to be

by your side.

She wants to

walk with you.

Racing

to the future

or

wallowing

in the past,

you are not

in the

Present.

If you are never

at where

Time

is,

how could you

ever be

friends?

Truth

sets you free.

And

being

 in the

Present

with Time,

I've been

freed from the

torture of fearing the future

and

regretting the past.

In the Present,

Time has taught me

plenty!

Yes,

being in the Present,

people with great dreams and ambitions

have to 

Wait.

She has

cleansed my eyes

of 

Anxiety

and

made them 

new

with 

Hope.

With Hope,

it is 

easy 

to 

wait.

With Hope,

you will no longer

hunch your back 

or 

shuffle your feet;

you are 

able to 

stand up

and 

play!

Boredom 

cannot stay for long.

With Hope,

it is possible to 

persevere

through

 the darkest times.

You are 

not 

afraid of nothingness.

You 

embrace 

it

and 

make something

out of

 nothing

and

enjoy

Life

while

Time

walks on.
