The admiration of 

Independence 

is 

overrated.

An independent person 

is strong.

An independent person

who has the

ability to depend

is stronger.

Dependence

is often misunderstood

as 

weakness. 

Is that true?

We always need

somebody else

to reach 

where we can't reach

alone.

A tree

stands 

strong and tall.

In storm and wind,

it 

braves through,

unwavering.

It stands.

In the cold,

its beauty 

wither and dwindle.

Its crown 

falls to the ground

and 

wastes away.

Weakness.

Naked,

stripped

 of its 

pride and confidence,

yet 

it 

stands tall.

Its strength is

magnificent.

The 

unpredictable surroundings

could 

suddenly come

threaten, tempt and torture

its strength

but

it 

never gives up

and

never gives in

to what its

 circumstances

 bring.

The tree

always overcomes

and

increases its strength

battle of battle.

How

 did it do it?

Where 

did it 

muster such 

phenomenal strength?

If 

Independence 

is great strength

is the tree

independent?
