Intimacy happens in the
light.
Darkness
is the ideal environment
that breeds the
ugliest things in life.
We clothe
our hurts, faults, fears, failures and flaws
with this
black blanket.
There,
we're offered
masks.
Only a few designs;
the most popular of all is named
Nothingness.
I recently spoke to
someone
who wore Nothingness
since he was a child.
He described what it's like
facing life
with Nothingness,
'I didn't care if I was
dead or alive.'
What made him wear it?
'I felt left on the shelf...
so I decided to stay on the shelf
since nobody cared.
And yea, collect dust.'
Mechanically,
his life is operating normally.
Wake up, eat, fulfill duties, go home, sleep.
The body exists.
But the
soul is frozen.
That day,
he decided to put down Nothingness.
As soon as he did,
Light
shone on him.
And in
Light's
warmth,
everything frozen melted.
'After so many years....
I've finally shed my
first tear.'
The deepest intimacy
touches beyond flesh and bones.
It reaches into hearts
and
touches where hands cannot go.
It does not tease, excite and then disappear.
Light will remain
as long as you're open.
While it stays in you,
it does magic to your heart.
With tears streaming down his cheeks,
he told me,
'I can breathe,
I feel alive.
I think I can really live now.'
Have you been cold?
The black blanket
cannot keep you warm
for long.
Reach for Light.
Where?
Remove your mask.
Light will come
as soon as you reveal yourself.
Something beautiful will happen.
Light
is the ideal environment
where
the most beautiful things bloom and thrive.
Magical.
