[Callies Hell]
Every human being
has
eternity
planted in his heart.
You,
regardless
of race, language or religion,
of weaknesses and strengths, family background or music interest,
have an
inborn instinct
that
longs for immortality.
With your
mind,
you know everyone
eventually dies.
But
in your
heart,
death always seems
unnatural and unfair.
Even dogs cry
over the death of their friends.
Death is not your
expiry date.
Death is just a
transition
from earth into eternity.
Where you will spend eternity at,
is another question.
I hope we shall be
like the children in C.S Lewis'
The Chronicles of Narnia.
At the last page of his
seven book series,
C.S Lewis described Eternity so beautifully,
I shall memorise it by heart.
'For us,
this is the end of all thes tories...
But for them
it was
only the beginning
of the real story.
All their life
in this world...
had only been
the cover and the title page:
now at last
they were beginning
Chapter One of the Great Story,
which no one on earth has read,
which goes on forever
and in which
every chapter
is better
than the one before.'

To make the
most of your life,
don't be clueless nor
be distracted by the temporary things.
When you know you're just
a passer by,
you won't get stressed up
about fattening your bank account
or wondering when you'll be famous.
I want the bucks and the fun.
Who doesn't?
But looking beyond
the cover page of my life storybook,
these are not that important to me anymore.
Focus
on what's more important -
the things that will affect
the permanent,
the rest of the chapters that will
go on forever.
Keep the
vision
of eternity
in your
mind
and
guard the
value
of eternity
in your
heart.
With time,
your body will fade away.
Where you will be at
Chapter One of the Great Story
really depends
what you've put in your
mind and heart
because
what you deposit
in them,
will either
drive you
nearer
or
farther
from
where
you have always longed to be,
who
you have always wanted to
meet -
face to face.
