People fail you,
you fail people too.
We tend to forget this.
Do you remember
the last time you failed somebody?
Regret.
Pain.
Anxiety.
'Will she forgive me?
Will she talk to me again?
Will she give me another chance?'
We are wired
to desire
Reconciliation.
And because of that,
we Hope
to find strength for tomorrow otherwise,
life becomes meaningless.
Do you recall the joy
of being given forgiveness?
Many times,
you know you
didn't deserve
it.
But you
need
forgiveness.
Who could survive
a life like a courtroom?
each mistake you make,
you are arrested
and found guilty.
The person you fail
sits at the judgement seat,
his eyes
ice cold.
'Listen to me, please.
I'm so sorry,
I won't do it again.'
you plead.
The judge,
grimace and thunder words
that strike and wring your heart,
'It's too late.
You don't deserve my pardon.'
And he pass his judgement,
'GUILTY!
You cannot be forgiven.'
Now,
you are officially executed
from that person's life.
Hope is never considered.
All ties are severed.
In his eyes,
you are the criminal
who doesn't deserve
another chance.
In this courtroom,
how can Love exist
when there is no
Mercy and hope?
In this courtroom,
the end is always
death sentence.
We often see ourselves
as the convict -
the pitiable victim
bullied by merciless judges
in our lives.
But have you considered
that
you could be
the brutal judge
in somebody else's life?
