My Left & Right.

Mum and Aunt Zoe had errands to run,
and so my Sunday was spent unusally,

with two unusually beautiful and precious people in my life.

They are the ones I can
sit anywhere and be
comfortably still and quiet with.

These are friends who communicate with me
beyond words;
they look beyond the surface
and bring out the best in me.

Someone once said,
'You know someone is your soulmate
when he or she brings out the best in you -
who you really are -
when he or she's in your life.'

That's true, isn't it?

Marriage aside,
there are friendships
that are meant to last a lifetime -
and even forever.

I'm thankful to look on my left and right -
and know that
I've the company of
great women
whose love, loyalty and patience
they've given me

no money can buy or earn,
but only

receive them as gifts
from the Greatest Love.

Through people like them,
I'm reminded of
His reality,

that I am taken care of
and loved daily.
