Parading You.

[edited]

He didn't screw up
when he made you.

He loves to
parade you.

but who's arms are you in?

I was in many.
They were ordinary.
and then I was in my own.
Those were also ordinary.

It's more comfortable
to be embraced by any pair of arms
than none at all.

Who doesn't want to be
carried, cradled, and raised up
to be paraded.

If there's no one,
vanity comes in.
How we uphold and parade
what we think is ours.

But it all boils down
to the ordinary.
Ordinary,
because they don't seem to ever pacify

this particular longing,
somewhere within.

Refuse the ordinary.
It's just a survival kit.

Pursue extraordinary.
It's more exilarating than
nights of revelries

mankind's praises and persuasions
all their reasons -
which cannot fix the price of many things

crowns and
those shiny toys
they only thicken the skin of our pride.

Time for the real thing.

Extraodinary.
It's door is not closed yet.
Welcome in.

Let it captivate you.
It doesn't come in masks.
but is
clear as light.

And it'll carry you through.
It'll never abort you.

Without your permission
no thief can steal it from you.

Extraordinary
There is no alternative.

but it can only come

when we peel our skin of
pride and independance.

I felt the itch and heat of these clothings.

now

In nakedness,
I see true majesty exalted.

You are never the same again.
It's not about you anymore.

The world will see the
Extra in the ordinary,

and they will find
there's no more spirit in them.

*

I will raise you up

A city set on a hill
that cannot be missed.
