Wash My Feet.

Everyday
When we walk on the face of the earth
Our feet is soiled with the germs of situations
The grime and acid of human-words

We try to protect our feet
And keep them clean
But the layers only thicken
They dry up and harden

Now
Once I come home
I bring my feet to where there flows
The Living Water

I always need it
To keep me clean

Come to the River
Let Him
Cleanse
Renew
Refresh

Put on the shoes of peace

That tomorrow morning
I walk in the path
Which Your footsteps have paved for me

Where your light shines ever brighter
And You walk with me
Penetrating the darkness of this world

Take off my shoes
