In My Destiny.

When you know that
You can expect to live big
It's really hard to settle for small.

Many know this.
But few are chosen.

Even fewer are found faithful.

Writing this,
I'm mulling over what it means.

How can someone be called 'Faithful'?
What must she do?
What must she go through?

Thinking about it,
Faithfulness is birthed through time.

It's easy to find hyped up people at the start.
New projects.
New dreams.
New ideas.
But hype is lika huge helium balloon.
It's loud and exciting.
'Oh, how it'd fly so high and up into the sky.'

But it doesn't last.
Hours later, it flats out
And returns to the ground.

And as I write,
I am reminded that
Passion is the opposite of Hype.

It doesn't just last.
Passion outlasts almost any obstacle.
Passion is Steadfast and Tough.
It is Focused and Positive.
Passion is Faithful.

Passion,
She deserves the big life 'cos
She is Strong and Wise
To handle little and big things.

In good times,
She smiles and walks on.

In bad times,
She still smiles and walks on.

You will see the passionate and faithful
Not just at the startline
But also the finishing line.

To sprint, jog, walk, limp, even crawl -
The Passionate and Faithful
Will finish this race.
She will live out her destiny.
