Trample Underfoot.

I hate it when I realise something has gotten the better of my joy.

Everyday,
There are traps
Everywhere
That target to capture us.

An over-sticky negative thought
A nagging doubt
A haunting picture
An overbearing worry

And how they enlarge
Every second you commit to pay attention to it

How they rob us of our joy!
We can be so plagued by it
We forget to remember all the good around us and in our lives
There's nothing to be grateful for
Nothing to smile about

I hate that,
Don't you hate that?
When we are seized by such things,
We serve ourselves as slaves to
These irrational bits we entertain in our minds.

If you are experiencing this right now,
Don't hate the circumstance.
Hate the thought.
Confront it.
Seek the Truth that stands against it.
And destroy every seed sown to it.

No weapon formed against
His children
Shall prosper.

He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent
You shall trample underfoot!
