I was particularly drawn to my picture albums and childhood diaries
When I was pottering about my bedroom tonight.

Reading my diary entries were rather entertaining and amusing.
Sometimes, heartwarming.
That's why I'd like to digitize it:

I'd save your eyes from squinting
By extracting the funniest parts of the contents.
Get ready for some kid in me.

Sunday 7 June 1998 (Ten year old)
Dear God,
I'm very, very worried for my NAFA test.
Because I cannot do very well for my standing broad jump.
And I really hope Mrs Simon will not tell us to do it one by one.
No! No! I will shiver! Please Father!.............
...............Sometimes, I get a little irritated when Clarice calls.
Then, she will sing, sing, sing!
Please let her stop it and
Let her not talk in class.
It's very irritating.

I'm worrying now.
God, I just don't know why there are so many friendship problems among girls.
I just wish that everyday,
Clarice, Priscilla and me will be happy, peaceful and no quarrels.
O God, please let Clarice know I have her in my heart.
Please!
I have faith in U.
O Lord, let it be with the amazing power U have.
Please let Clarice understand and cheer her up.
(takes a deep breath)
God, I know you will help me.
Because U love me and Clarice and Priscilla.
I want to pray for Clarice, her family ....

U are a promise-maker cauze when
I ask U for a wish although I'm impatient,
U grant it the next day.
