Love: Best Preservative.

Sunday was interesting
When Carol said this,

'When
Men become men,
Women will become women.'

I took a few minutes to chew on it.
And then I thought,
How true that is!

Let me explain:

I was asking Carol how does one know her calling in life.
Because I've been thinking about it for many years.
Could it be Advertising? Broadcasting? Or what?
Our calling will always be in sync with our passion.
It wouldn't be anything bizarre beside our interests.

Carol replied that no matter what industry women are called to,
It is ultimately Motherhood.
I only found myself instantly cracking up a sneer.
The idea of being a housewife is just not appealing, not any bit, to me.
And I believe a significant number of you girls too.

In our era,
Motherhood is considered secondary or redundant to women.
But I had a paradigm shift when Carol challenged my thoughts.

Where do you think all the great men come from?
Women!
Only women can reproduce.
They are engineered to do so.
That is why,
They always choose to believe in the worst men when they're lost in his love.
That's the Redemptive Nature women have.
Women didn't need to work.
They hang out with their kids and have fun all day.

Everything changed when
In the late middle ages,
When men were away for either war or work,
Wives had to multitask and work for a living.
They had to become the husband and the wife.
In the midst of it,
A few women with great ambitions emerged.
They were so rare,
That society believe they were
WITCHES!
They were even labelled,
'Manly'.
That's just so sad.

Today,
The absence of men
Is hardly for war.
It's usually for work,
Or some appalling reasons.
But whatever absence it is,
It Compels women to rise up and take up new positions.

If a man doesn't want to be a man -
To take ownership of his responsibility,
To work hard,
Comfort the stomachs,
Provide a shelter,
And give protection and security
To the family he created with his wife (his love),
Then a woman will be.
A woman will do it.

I now understand how this fear and compellation
Has been transmitted generation after generation.
A fear of dependence in women
That has made them resistent to be
Sumissive Wives,
Committed & Nurturing Mothers.
It has now become difficult to trust that Love lasts.
That Marriage can work out until death interrupts.

It is not that today's men have lost their manhood.
What matters is if
They want to be what real men should be.

Thinking about it,
If you find a man who is really a man.
Who loves God wholeheartedly,
Who knows how to love you,
You'd do anything to nurture his offspring.

Thinking about it,
It is fun to be a housewife.
Just remember to be a beautiful one.
You won't lose your soul
And become a lumpy old hag
If you have a healthy marriage.
You know,
You can hang out with your kids,
Disciple them,
And develop great men and women out of your womb.

I'm surprised by what I've been typing.
I'm just amazed by how Love can change a person,
How Love can make one so beautiful,
So strong.

But for now,
In my career path,
I want to run and soar as far as I can.
My First Love has put dreams in my heart
That has yet to accomplish.
There is plenty to do, to pursue.
I'm so thankful
That now I have eyes to see,
And ears to hear,
That I can truly live -
All because

His Love has Preserved me.
