All In The Name Of Love

It's as though every cell of me has been sapped tonight.

But it's sapped for the exchange of Love
And I have gained more than I have lost.

There was a time,
I chased after money.
I wanted to earn as much as I could.
I envied others who were soaring in their career, earning big bucks.
I used to fear with my life
That I labour in vain.
Visions and goals are plenty
But when they come from the wrong source (you and the world)
They are only wishful-thoughts
It's the pain of realising you've been running your lungs out on the wrong track.

Precisely,
We sing
There's no turning back.
Because once you know the way,
You can't pretend you never knew it.
You can't deceive yourself that it's not the only and correct way.
Unless you want to be an utter fool and choose to fly your own plane towards death.

I find my place of rest tonight
When I am reminded that I need not fly my plane.
But I have a Captain
Who always loves to be the one in charge
And all I need to do
Is to enjoy myself while I ride my way to a lifetime of exciting places and ultimately Paradise,
