Idleness Rots Morality

The two tuition cancellations have driven me home
Just when I have arrived.
It's a huge pity.

One circumstance I resent being stuck in is
Idleness.

Ever since I have tasted the thrill of
Converting my value (educational +emotional quotient) and
Time
To hard cash,
Its difficult to stomach time wastage nowadays -
Unless it is spent with
People (they're the best investment)

In class,
I was reminded how idleness breed humanity's inclination to vice.
Idleness is equivalent to
Unemployment.
In any country where the unemployment rate is low,
Crime rate soars.
I find that so true to our personal-government.

When our gifts and talents are left alone for too long
It's like still water that breeds mosquitoes
And long enough later,
Dengue and malaria hit your neighbourhood
People actually suffer our ignorance of using our capabilities.


Play is downright fun.
But overrated fun isn't fun at all
When we miss out on the exhilaration and fulfillment
Of what good people could have enjoyed
Of what good we can enjoy
When we choose to
Simply use what we have
And give what we can
Only then
What we have can be multiplied
