somewhere beneath her skin
lies a raging desire
a kind of fire that engulfs her
at almost every stroke of time
she searches high and low
for temporary fillings to satisfy her soul
nothing she found qualmed that hunger within
crawl in inch by inch
reach
beseech
eat
what that was meant to quiet
the itch
